 How momentous the issue of choice can be!

Whatever our reactions to the announcement this morning here in the UK that a woman has been appointed as the new Archbishop of Canterbury it emphasises the significance of choice.

Down through the years of humanity, millions upon millions of choices have been made. Some have only been small personal issues, but others of almost infinite proportions.

Sadly, the choices of some individuals have brought trouble to the whole world. 
Whatever, no choice is ever made without some purpose. And that purpose determines its effect. 

Our wonderful Lord Jesus makes choices! And he definitely has a purpose in each one. 

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” John 15:16, NKJV
