How lovely it is to know that the Lord always keeps every one of his promises.
I have found it helpful many times to read his promises with the emphasis on different words. Like this…
‘I will NEVER leave you nor forsake you.’ It may seem sometimes as if the Lord has disappeared but no, NEVER!
‘I will NEVER leave you nor forsake you.’
We sometimes drift away from Jesus in the busyness of life with all its problems, but he never drifts away from us!
‘I will never leave YOU nor forsake YOU.’
Sadly, for some reason or other, friends or relatives leave us.
Jesus? No!
‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’
‘A wonderful Saviour is Jesus my Lord!’
