Ashamed
“For whoever is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”
Mark 8:38, NKJV
Am I ashamed of Jesus?
If I haven’t told any of my neighbours about Jesus, does that suggest I’m ashamed of him?
If in my workplace, things are said and done which I know are evil, why do I remain silent?
Our society is similar to the society in which Jesus lived - adulterous and sinful.
If I have not in any way spoken out clearly against it, am I being ashamed of Jesus?
Am I not supposed to be a shining light for Jesus?
Lord, enable me to witness for you as I should.
Forgive me, Lord, and enable me to stand up for you.
