                          Awakened By God’s Grace

Who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not in virtue of our works but in virtue of his own purpose and the grace which he gave us in Christ Jesus ages ago. 2 Timothy 1:9RSV 

When I consider my redemption and the immeasurable grace our Lord gives for us, it really is a ‘grace awakening.’ To better recognize the deep love and mercy that comes to us daily. To bring purpose with excitement with each new day.

I have committed myself now for many decades to spend my waking hours each morning listening to the ‘voice of God’s Spirit’ talk to me. I know His leading me each day fills me with purpose and confidence of His presence. I dedicate the day wanting His purpose and presence to lead, to equip me.

Wanting to listen for the voice of God’s Spirit and word as promises, helps get us through the day’s challenges.

Learning God’s sufficiency, is far greater than our fear or reasoning. Grace given each one of us is more recognizable when we purpose to want His calling for all that is before us.

Our transformation by God’s grace gives more desire to share with others where we are from where we were. Letting go the old to put on the new is our own daily growing and learning. It becomes a joy in our Spiritual Heart going forward without fear to share more with others.

Growing in the grace our Jesus gives, is to say, ‘it gives each follower a peek into eternity before us’. For sure, God’s holy calling is something he does not want us to be casual about. Maybe, even to recognize the crown waiting for us to lay before His throne one day.

 Father, thank you for my wanting to hear the voice of your purpose to my daily calling, you gave me ages ago, that which brings honor to you, amen
