From LA Street Preacher to Brother Carlton A Journey of Faith and Purpose

In 2011, with a Bible in hand and fire (aka passion) in my heart, I stepped onto the streets of Los Angeles to do something radical—preach the Gospel in the open air. No pulpit, no microphone, just the raw truth of God’s Word spoken to whoever had ears to hear. The city streets became my church, the sidewalks my stage, and the people—whether listening or walking by—became my congregation.

I didn’t have a grand plan at the time. I wasn’t looking for recognition or applause. I simply knew that God had called me to proclaim His message with boldness. And so, the L.A. Street Preacher was born—a title that captured my mission and my identity as a voice crying out in the midst of the city.

For years, I hit the streets, preaching on corners, in front of shopping centers, and wherever the Spirit led me. Some mocked, some listened, and some were convicted. I recorded my encounters and shared them on YouTube, allowing my messages to reach far beyond the sidewalks of L.A. I wasn’t just preaching to pedestrians—I was speaking to thousands online, many of whom were hungry for truth.

But as time passed, my ministry began to evolve. I realized that God was calling me to expand beyond street preaching. My passion for scriptural truth, biblical doctrines, and motivational faith-based messages began to shape the content I shared. I wasn’t just warning the lost anymore—I was also building up believers, encouraging them in their walk with Christ, and breaking down complex biblical topics in a way that was clear and powerful.

And so, I made a change.

The name L.A. Street Preacher no longer fully reflected what God was doing through me. I wasn’t just preaching on the streets—I was teaching, encouraging, and inspiring through in-depth videos that explored the depths of God’s Word. My ministry was no longer confined to street corners; it was reaching people in their homes, on their phones, and across the world.

That’s when Brother Carlton was born.

A simple name. A personal name. A name that reflects what I am—a brother in Christ, sharing truth with those who seek it. Under Brother Carlton, my mission remains the same: to boldly proclaim the Gospel, challenge believers to live righteously, and equip them with biblical wisdom that strengthens their faith.

Whether I’m reading powerful sermons, diving into key doctrines, or sharing personal testimonies, my goal is to encourage, uplift, and awaken. The fire that burned in me back in 2011 still burns today—but now, it reaches even farther.
