YET

One word, but oh, how much it can say!
Yet!
It can certainly be a pivotal word.
Sometimes it can be a glorious turning point in our lives.
I find it thrilling to read the prophet Habakkuk’s list of negatives followed by his magnificent YET.
God’s positive.
Well, I certainly need to come to that ‘yet’ again and again.
And the Lord is so patient with me.

“Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labour of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.”

Habakkuk 3:17, 18 NKJV
