I read in New Testament mentioning 'love' a lot.
Jesus urged His disciples to 'love one another' a lot of times. 
I wonder the reason why...why would Jesus repeat and repeat the concept of love to us (His disciples). Isn't love very easy to understand - we can understand love in an exotic or romantic way. Everyone knows about love, everyone wants to receive love in some ways. Love is a good thing, if we are to describe it, it is super sweet. 

The worldly description of love is easy to understand and broadly accepted as well.
How about the love that Jesus mentioned over and over in the Bible? Asking His disciples to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. 

Perhaps the more Jesus mentioned it, the more it reflects the reality of how DIFFICULT and CHALLENGING to love one another in the Lord.

Have a think now the people you have met at church so far..
Do you honestly fit into most of them? Not really.
Are you all having the same personality just because all of you belive in the same God? Not really. 

So it can be hard to love one another the way Jesus wanted us to do. 
That's why Jesus will need to repeat it again and again, urging us (His disciples) to do your best to love the people you met at church. Yes, we are only human, we can only do our very best to help, to encourage, and to love those around us. Either the people around us can feel the love from us, it is entirely out of our control. We might have already tried our best, they still don't feel loved by us. 

How will you take this challenge on board?
How will you go about it?
What would you do, to the best of your ability to show LOVE and CARE to people around you?

If we are honest enough, we would have some likes and dislikes toward people at church, mostly because they don't act like us, think like us, speak like us or look like us. 

We do have ONE THING in common - we are all believing in the SAME GOD and LORD. 
We come together in a church setting, having also ONE PURPOSE in mind -- we are in church to PRAISE God. We are there not that we enjoy it like we enjoy good drama or movie. We are there to PRAISE THE LORD. We have tasted all His goodness to us, we are there to thank Him among His people. 

So, we don't have something in common that we are Christians. 
To extend the same love we received from God to another person can be difficult still. It is no easy task. May we take courage somehow, to do our best to love and serve. To listen more, and criticise less!!!!

We need to spend more time in prayer, praying for ourselves, praying for our weaknesses. That's pershaps the one thing we can do for ourselves. Ask God to help us in our weaknesses. We need to be honest with God, go to Him without any pretense. He knows that we are not perfect, we are weak compared to Him. He can uphold, He can strengthen, He can restore us -- but yes, all in His timing. We need to exercise much patience!

Take courage, shall we?
The 'love' challenge will always be a chalenging task to do.
It is okay when we failed God....get back up again, that's okay. 
God knows how hard it is.....God knows...
God looks into our hearts, not our performances. May we always remember this.

Thanks be to God, He is our help in times of need. 
We can rely on Him...We can pray to Him.
