Useful Troubles
“In the world you will have tribulation.” John 16:33. NKJV
That’s what Jesus said.
Well, the world is certainly full of troubles today. And mankind generally hasn’t a clue how to sort them all out.
However, the troubles that Jesus foretold for his people are not outside of his glorious control. For his people, troubles have a purpose,
The psalmist put it very clearly and honestly - “It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn your statutes.” Psalm 119:71. NKJV.
We need to take that perspective when problems and troubles invade our lives.
Problems and troubles can be our Father’s tools to make us better Christians.
“Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:11. NKJV
Simple!
So!
