God has spared angels when they sin,
Not sending to gloomy darkness;
Allowing to be cleansed within,
Purified for their starkness.

For He did spare the ancient world,
Preserved Noah for righteousness;
As a flood of waves had been hurled,
Brought the ungodly to justice.

He had condemned cities to death,
Sodom and Gomorrah to ash;
The ungodly had no more breath,
Feeling His wrath of their backlash.

He rescued Lot greatly distressed,
Of the wicked and their conduct;
Their sensual ways they professed,
Immoral methods to instruct.

A righteous man lived through each day,
Tormented by such righteous deeds;
Lawlessness how they disobey,
That kept growing like a bunch of weeds.

The Lord knows how to deliver,
Save the godly from temptation;
For He is the great forgiver,
That gives the godly salvation.

The Day of Judgment when they see,
Trials for their defiled lust;
Fate into the fiery sea,
And they have been returned to dust.
