Truth Wins: John 14:6, Proverbs 12:22 KJV

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight (Proverbs 12:22 KJV).

God laid on my heart to write to you this morning, reminding everyone that truth is still truth; it will always be the truth and win.

Why does truth triumph? It's because truth is a concept and part of God's very nature. No truth exists outside of God's truth.

As noted in Proverbs 12:22 KJV, God hates lying lips, as they are an abomination to Him. There is a saying: a liar will not tarry in God's eyes. I have often heard that a thief is better than a liar because you never know when a liar is telling the truth, but a thief will steal at every opportunity.

John 8:33 tells us that the truth will make us free. This is because when one tells the truth, they don't have to worry or remember what was said sometime in the past. Here again, truth stands on its merit.

Liars and thieves have no place in God's kingdom, and neither should they be in our society today, which is filled with both.

My dear friends, I urge you to always speak the truth, no matter the circumstances. Trust in God to handle the consequences. Remember, Jesus Himself proclaimed, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life.'
America, turn back to God, put Him first in your lives, tell the truth, and be free from guilt. Truth wins!
