Encouragement
Genesis 6: 8 (Kjv), Psalm 77: 1-11 (Kjv)
Grace is there, That is, God’s goodness to us, No matter how we feel, regardless of hard circumstances surrounding our lives, His grace remains. That precious and valuable, infinite gift of the grace which is to be found only in the Lord above, is not dependent on how other people see us, what they think of us, For God sees in us a great potential, He sees us as we are through perfect eyes, and they never grow dim, His correct view never can fade, It is how He sees you and I that counts. We recognize this reality in the life of Noah, as is stated in God’s word, Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. I believe what is described of Noah when he was living in those days, can also carry an application for every saved Jesus-follower alive now during this present age. The one person who seeks to follow God, ignoring the naysayers, and those opinions that arrive into our ears, into our minds, from faulty views, obtains God’s grace and help in his or her life. Satan is real, and when he is raging, he is doing so many such times, within our minds. But he only gains control there, when we we allow him to have power to work. The truth is, at times, we can let him into our thoughts, maybe even without knowing it, because we begin to believe what he says about us, lies, twisted truths, we give him too much lead-way, instead of taking captive every though to the obedience of Christ. The devil has power, but limited ability compared to the might of our God, and the bible says that Jesus has given us delegated power as His children, so we must walk in that power that makes us more than conquerors, through He who loved us, and gave Himself for us on the cruel cross of Calvary. We have the same grace, while we follow our heavenly Father, but notice please, it is still mentioned as the grace found in the eyes of the Lord. When we are obedient to Him above all the other voices of the enemy, it is true that He is smiling down on us in approval over our lives. And we all need that approval from Him, because if we have that, we have all we need. The same is true with God’s sufficient grace, but “in the eyes of the Lord”. Other eyes, whether yours or mine, can be filled with greed, with envy, jealousy, all types of serious diseases found within them, and these when acted upon can cause any of us to sin, Guard your heart, His word says, above all else. But the divine eyes filled and overflowing with His all-consuming grace, sees us as only God alone, can. He sees us through unfailing eyes of unfailing grace, It is important to be seen in that way by Him, because we are all depending, whether we realize it or not, on His grace, not ours, because we have none apart from God and how He sees us as He does, in such an amazing way. Noah was obedient. But also like every one of us, Noah could not earn this gift, and he needed God as well as what He gave freely and fully to him. He needed the Lord to see in himself what not many others could, what not even he could. He found that grace in the eyes of God, the One who knew him unlike any other, and still loved him. But it had to be found. Sometimes in life, this can happen to all of us, we can rely so much on our own feelings, and this is how the devil lies to us and works, and gains a foothold in our minds if we are not careful. But God’s grace sees what people cannot, what even maybe the devil himself, though he be ever so cunning, cannot see. He sees Forgiven when He looks down at His beloved child, the one he bought with a high yet costly price on Calvary’s hill. He sees Loved. Justified. Pardoned. Redeemed. Accepted. Chosen. This is how He sees. And this view-point, These eyes of grace, the truth found when the Fathers whispers to us, His grace, This is all we truly need in this life and in the one after. Because at the end of the day, an easier one, a tough one, when the sun is going down, and we review, we begin to contemplate those lies that have been spoken over our souls by that wicked one, The father of lies, our adversary the devil, during the night, we have much need, no matter the time, for God’s great grace, for with this, God created man and woman, and everything comes from Him, and with grace, He died a brutal death, became the sacrificial Lamb that He did not have to be, but chose to be, slain for our sins. And with that same awesome grace, He stood above the grave in victory once again, and now sits at the right side of Heaven, and with grace likewise, He prays for us. And with grace, the saved, redeemed and forgiven children of God, will one day arrive, finally at their home eternal, called Heaven. We love Him, only because He first loved us. Remember this grace and Who it comes from. And if it seems as if it has left this season of your life, Remember, His grace remains. It can never, it will never leave. And we cannot go so far as to leave such grace behind us beneath our tracks. It can haunt you, chase you down, allow it to. With love for us all, His grace remains and will never let us go, nor give up on us. It shall not leave us behind, we are never alone, for The Father, even the Father of this miraculous goodness is with us always.
