When the sun danced
In a spectacular solar way,
In response to a said prophecy
After a wet and rainy day in Fatima
Thousands gathered to watch this event.

When the sun danced
In a rare phenomenal sight
Different colours of light painted the sky.
At one point scarlet and yellow
Then taking on a purple and blue shade
Of rainbows and stained glasses.

When the sun danced
In a most extraordinary way
It zig- zaged all the way from the sky.
Breaking loose from the torn clouds in the sky
Whirling and spinning to the earth
People screamed, wept and prayed.

When the sun danced
In a most glorious event
Three shepherd children
Witnessed a panoramic vision of Heaven.
Many others saw the Blessed Virgin standing in the sky.
Her promise of a miracle fulfilled in a heavenly way
Her children now pray the Rosary faithfully each day.
