                                         EMPLOYED BY GOD

 For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake, he will save it.  For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?
 Luke 9:24-25 RSV

Living life new through God’s Spiritual preeminence is certainly not about one’s physical strength or human endeavor. Rather Spiritual wisdom to discern; eternal goals of lasting purpose and vision.

None of us have ever had a paycheck signed by God. Regardless whether our vocation be in public service, or developing a product through manufacturing. But living life in what we do or say is to help others recognize our intimate relationship with our Savior. ‘New birth’ in a believers heart becomes the product of God’s spirit at work!  Our transformation is result of losing one’s desire to let go, or lose his or her life. Witnessing a Spiritual Power at work, not of human sufficiency.

Developing a strong intimate relationship with another takes effort to know and understand that person. To  become best of friends. This happens to all ‘followers of Jesus,’ as we become a new Creature in Christ. The old nature of fleshly reasoning decreases, for the new nature of  God’s Spiritual presence begins to work in us. Cf John 3:30

  Brethren, I do not consider that I have made it my own; but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,  I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14

All our growing up years is about ‘self-sufficiency.’ But God will create in us a new heart, becoming a ‘living sacrifice,’ Holy and acceptable to God, our Spiritual act of service.

Listening to the voice of God’s Spirit, and the voice of God’s word are key ingredients’ to recognize when ‘employed by God.’ We come to know Who we’re really employed by.
