Walk alongside with me
Help me to carry the weight.
A weight not so much of physical load
But a burden emotionally so huge.

Walk alongside with me
See how exhausted I have been,
Not from carrying the wooden beam
But from the heaviness of a torn spirit.

Walk alongside with me
Your form next to me
Will be my succour and aid
It will lift my heart to know you are near.

Walk alongside with me
Do not ever leave my hand.
For your hand gives me a great strength
It makes my will and heart too strong.

Walk alongside with me
Let us walk the entire miles.
The journey will not seem so long then
The journey will not be so difficult then.

Walk alongside with me
Your presence will shield me on the side
From the beating sun and taunting crowd
Your support is all I will ever need.

Walk alongside with me
This time the hill is too high to climb.
But the rocky stones will not deter me
If you carry the yoke along with me.

Walk alongside with me
And keep walking with me even thereafter.
After I have gone far away to the above world,
Continue to walk with me in love and spirit
It will heal my tumultuous heart in the heavens on top.
