Joy comes in the morning
When the bleak shadows 
Are overtaken by the vapours
Of the morning white clouds.

Joy comes in the morning
When the darkness of the night
Is put far behind us
And the chirpy morning cradles us.

Joy comes in the morning
When we set out and step out
To find happiness outside the door
In a world awaiting to give us that joy.

Joy comes in the morning
When we thank the Lord
That we awoke to live a new day
And look forward to the minutes in queue.

Joy comes in the morning
When the fresh garden scene
Further awakens our soul
To join in the gladness of blooming flowers.

Joy comes in the morning
When the early morning time
Is the best time to renew love
The favourite time to bow and pray.

Joy comes in the morning
When the tears wept at night
Is blown far away in space
As God proceeds to fill our hearts
With beautiful hopes and promises.

Joy comes in the morning
For the dawn is the dawning time
To a lovely drive of happening time
The present clearly marked and outlined
In the happiest space that life can give us.

Joy comes in the morning
To raise our hearts unto the Lord
In a waiting time of sure joy
That his presence will always be in front of us.

Joy comes in the morning
When the tomb rolls away the darkness within.
When days of fasting and ash clothes
Gives way to the highest victory shining light
For the Lord rose to a new life in the morning joy.
