_"The Holy Bible is a blessing to mankind. It has a solution to every problem. It has provision for anyone who wants to become great in life without any reason to impair the rights and privileges of someone else.
Do you know what? Biblical provisions are for only those who exploit them.
In the Gospel of Jesus Christ as recorded by Apostle John, chapter six is a report of Christ's teaching success. So many people were present and were attentive. When the day was far spent, the multitudes were hungry and the loving Lord would not want them to go without eating, and the place was far from the city. Not only that, the disciples could not think of a means of getting the funds to feed such a great number of people.
On the other hand, the Lord knew what to do. He only needed someone who would make a little food available to Him so that He would multiply it. He found this need met in a young boy. The Apostles declared,
[9]“There’s a young boy here with five barley loaves and two fish. But what good is that with this huge crowd?” John 6:9.
The disciples saw the limitations of what was available but the Lord over all things saw sufficiency in the multiplication of what was on the ground.
After getting the great multitudes seated, He gave thanks and blessed the five loaves and two fishes before He gave them to the Apostles for distribution to the people seated. They were not only fed satisfactorily but there was a great leftover of twelve baskets. The Lord warned against wastage. He had no pleasure in a waste of resources.
So long as the Lord and His disciples were not interested in carrying food about, the question now is, "Who owns the twelve baskets full of leftovers?"
[13]So they picked up the pieces and filled twelve baskets with scraps left by the people who had eaten from the five barley loaves." John 6:13.
The Lord is always the Righteous One. I think the young boy must be allowed to take charge of the scraps. Or what do you think? If the young boy could make five loaves of bread and two fishes available to feed five thousand men, without counting women and children, would he not be readily available to be used again and again now that he had more?
It would amount to partiality if the scraps were given to someone who could not make what he had available to feed lovers of the Lord and His word.
Beloved Pilgrim, you can generate your own twelve baskets of leftovers if you make whatever you have available for the Lord to be used for His people. This is not a matter of age. A young boy did what led to the above leftovers. You can do likewise. Until now, the Lord needs something to multiply to take care of His people. Please, if you have it, make it available and you will never regret doing so. Watch and prepare for the Lord is coming soon.
