Poetry
I looked in the breeze,
I searched without ease,
Hoping to find you somewhere.
I looked in the night,
Searched for your light,
I needed to know you still cared.
I searched through my mind,
In a perilous time,
But found not a trace even there.
I looked with my tears,
Searching frantic with fear,
Crying please let me know you still care.
In a voice ever low,
Through my heart to my soul,
A whisper said child I am here.
You were just in a test,
But now you can rest,
In my arms safe and secure.

Love it!
Yes, He has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." What comfort to know that never means N-E-V-E-R!
William, I was absolutely covered in chill bumps as I read the last few lines. So many times I've called out. And it never fails, He always answers... not always right that second, but He always answers, sometimes in a whisper, somemtimes in a song, through a brother or sister or even a child, through the Word, or through something as simple as a gentle breeze... a kiss on my cheek. His love never ceases to amaze me, even though my heart is not always in the right place. Oh, but it doesn't take long to get back home... home sweet home... in the arms of my Father.
