Look upon my affliction,
Deliver me from my flaw;
I am lured by addiction,
I do not forget Your Law.

I plead my cause to redeem,
Give me life per Your promise;
Let the sin flow like a stream,
Give compassion to justice.

Salvation will block evil,
They do not seek your statute;
The foul follow the devil,
In an immoral pursuit.

Great is Your mercy, O Lord,
Give me life as per Your rules;
And to be in one accord,
Give judgment unto the fools.

They are my persecutors,
That are also enemies;
From the darkness seducers,
That mock Your testimonies.

I see the fools with disgust,
They keep not Your commands;
For being an atheist,
Ignorant of Your demands.

But how I love Your precepts,
Gives life to Your steadfast love;
Filled with heavenly concepts,
To keep flowing from above.

The sum of Your Word is truth,
Righteousness rules forever;
As I was taught since my youth,
Your goodness does not sever.
