THE OLIVET DISCOURSE (Mat 24)

As Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives the disciples came privately,
They said “What is the sign of your coming & when will these things be?
When’s the end of the current age and why's the Temple coming down,
Can you please explain we’re so confused, when will you take up your Crown”?

So Jesus said “Take heed, so you’re not deceived for many phonies will come,
They’ll say they’re Christ and many will follow, just make sure you’re not dumb
There will be wars and rumours of wars but please be troubled not,
For though these things must come to pass, the end will yet come not.

Nation must rise against other nations Kingdoms against each other,
Famines will come and Pestilences and Son will not trust Mother.
Earthquakes in diverse places will mark the Beginning of Sorrows,
So be careful who you listen to, be careful who you follow.

Then you will be delivered up to death and tribulation
Everyone will hate you for my name’s sake, for sure that is your station.
So many will be offended, turn and betray one another,
False Prophets deceive and many listen, true Word they will smother.

Because there’s so much lawlessness, the love of many grows cold,
But endure to the end and you will be saved, be strong, faithful and bold.
The Gospel will be preached in all the world, a witness to all nations,
And THEN the end comes, finally Humanities discontinuation.

So when you see the Abomination that Daniel prophesied about,
Judea best flee to the Mountains by the most direct route.
Do not pause to get your stuff or worry about your clothes,
But if you’re Pregnant or Nursing Babies you in for a series of woes.

And pray your flight is not in winter or on the Sabbath Day,
For Great Tribulation is coming in a most terrible new way.
And unless these days are shortened, no flesh would be saved,
But for the sake of the Elect, the days length will be staved.

Then if people say to you “Look there that is the Christ”,
Do not believe or entertain it for heavy is the price.
False Prophets and Christ’s will come for sure with wonders & their tricks,
To even try to fool the Elect across the river Styx.

So if you hear he is in the Desert, City or Inner rooms,
Do not believe it turn away or surely face your doom.
As the Lightning flashes East to West, so will my coming be,
For where the carcass is, so the Eagles fly and gather free.

Now after the Great Tribulation the Sun and Moon will be darkened,
The Heavens will shake, Stars will fall and people will be stunned.
Then in Heaven there’s something new, the Son of Man’s sign is born,
They will see him coming with glory and power and all the Earth will mourn.

Then the Angels are dispatched, and a great Trumpet sounded,
They gather the Elect from everywhere like Cattle they are rounded.
From the Great Four Winds and from Heaven’s further reaches,
What a Holy awesome display for Earths remaining creatures.

Learn from the Fig Tree people, take notice and be of good cheer,
For as it puts forth tender leaves, you know that Summer’s near.
So when you also see these things, know it is near and at the door,
For all these things must take place, unseen heretofore.

Nobody knows the day or hour but God the Father only,
For like the days of Noah, so will the Son of Man’s coming be,
Before the flood they ate and drank, married and were merry,
Then sudden death came upon them, they were barred from the ferry.

So also will be my second coming, one taken the other left,
Watch therefore be wise and wary avoid feeling bereft.
You must be ready so keep a clean heart, not trampled crushed & wrecked,
For the Son of Man comes, verily verily, at an hour you won’t expect.

So be a Servant faithful and wise, give due diligence to your Master,
For when he comes and finds you so doing, reward comes all the faster.
But if you slacken, drink and party, he’ll come when you are sleeping,
You’ll be caught out, left behind with gnashing of teeth and weeping.
