“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” Matthew 6:22-23 NIV
Imagine the continued darkness an individual who is totally blind faces, not being able to see anything brought about through the existence of light. There is an eye much more important than the human eye, and that would be the spiritual eye which exists in the heart. Everyone has one It is just that in too many that eye cannot see, as it is dead. If this is the case, such a one has spiritual darkness within their heart. This is not good. The “operation” required to provide spiritual light to the heart, and the soul comes through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Let your spiritual eye be alive and healthy within your heart. Give your heart to Jesus.
