I rejoice in my suffering,
Within my own flesh for your sake;
As I lack not of buffering,
Fulfilled from Jesus Christ does make.

I am a poet thanks to God,
For making His Word fully known;
Giving Him the honor and laud,
Knowing that I am not alone.

Mysteries hidden for ages,
But not been revealed for His saints;
As this chaotic world rages,
Immorally without restraints.

The hope of glory is in you,
Because in Christ we do proclaim;
Warning everyone what is true,
About what is a sinful shame.

Teach everyone with all wisdom,
That everyone becomes mature;
About Jesus and His Kingdom,
And how to enter through His door.

For this, I toil and labor,
Struggling with all His energy;
In convincing every neighbor,
He works in my powerfully.
