What Happens AFTER the Tribulation?

     There is much being said and written about the Tribulation Period, but what happens after that? Many are wondering if the world is coming to an end. Life on earth will be radically different from what it has always been known to be, but no, it will continue. After the Tribulation Period, which will exterminate a large portion of the world population, comes the Millenial Kingdom. The big questions are who will populate the earth? What kind of government will there be? What will life be like?
      Several groups of people will be living on earth. One group will be those beheaded for their faith in Jesus who refused to receive the mark of the beast. They will be resurrected and reign with Christ (Revelation 20:4). For those who believe that there will be no Millenial Kingdom, this verse disproves that. (The Bible passages used in this article are rather extensive to quote, so I do encourage readers to look them up for themselves).
     Two, there will be all the raptured believers. (I Thessalonians 4:15-17). 
     Three, all the believers from the Old Testament will be resurrected and living on earth, which will include "every believer of God from Adam and Eve until the beginning of the Church Age". (1)
     Four, there will be non-believers living during the Millenium because it is possible that  "people that are born ...will still need to receive [Jesus] as their Messiah." (2)
     In summary, all true believers down through history up until the rapture will be in the Millenial Age, along with any who receive Jesus during the Tribulation and manage to survive. There will be those in glorified and immortal bodies living with mortals in physical bodies. (3)
     To answer the second question, the world will continue but under the global leadership of Jesus Christ ruling from Jerusalem, and believers will reign with Christ. Satan will no longer have any power over the people because he will be bound (Revelation 20:2-3). There will be no more deception in government. Jesus will rule with a "rod of iron..." (Rev. 2:27). There will be justice and righteousness (Isaiah 9:7). This will be the time when "at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord..." (Philippians 2:10). 
     Now on to the third question. Author Ron Rhodes states there will be increased longevity to 100 years, plentiful rain and food, physical illness will be removed, and animals and people will live in harmony. He quotes Isaiah 11:1-9 and 65:17-25. (4) Author Bill Salus also mentions advanced forms of air transportation, a pure singular language, instantaneous answers to prayer, an end to blindness and deafness, adequate housing, and robust farming. (5).          
      The Millenial Kingdom will provide every single thing the world is looking for today. There is a condition: one must accept Jesus as the one and only Savior. The chances of surviving the Tribulation Period are not good. Call upon the Savior today and reign with Christ during the Millenium.
