I can see your halo;
shining bright as the sun.
First you learned to crawl,
then walk,
and now run.

(I said to my brethren)
I can see your halo;
glowing brave and strong,
with Christlike meekness,
lightly cascading along.

I can see your halo;
shining bright as a new day.
First you learned to coo,
then talk,
and even what not to say.

Whether you are abased or abounding,
your inner strength is sure;
having your mind cleansed
and your heart changed and pure.

I can see your halo;
shining bright as the sun.
First you learned to crawl,
then walk,
and now run.

But not of your own doing, lad,
so vital to say,
but God’s Spirit sweetly gleaming;
Sparkling in all sorts of ways…

and in any sort of days….

I can see your halo;
shining bright as the new moon.
First you learned lovingkindness,
and as for men, not to swoon.
