Droopy

Several years ago we went up into the chapel room where they served refreshments. There at the end of a worktop was a big vase of flowers. Every flower was drooping right down the side of the vase.
Sad. I made no comment.
A few days later we went to the upper room again, and look!
Every flower was upright and displaying its beauty perfectly.
Someone had put more water in the vase.

Have we become spiritually droopy?
Maybe we need to cry out like the prophet:
“O Lord, revive your work in the midst of the years!”   Habakkuk 3:2
God gives us plenty of promises of what he can do.
Here’s one: “I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.” Ezekiel 34:26

Droopies can be revived!
