It’s the Law

Here in the UK we drive on the left-hand side of the road. Some other countries use the right-hand side. The vast majority of motorists keep those laws.
Motoring laws are designed to protect us by telling us what is right and what is wrong.

What about God’s laws? Did he design them to protect us from harm?

Imagine the disaster and chaos if motorists disobeyed the rules of the road!
Worse results if people disobey or ignore God’s moral and spiritual laws.
Disaster and chaos.

God’s right is right and God’s wrong is wrong. No two ways about it.
In the church we need a renewal of the preaching of God‘s law, because only by the holy law of God can a sinner become aware of their sin.

“By the law is the knowledge of sin.” Romans 3:20

And praise the Lord Jesus that He came into this world to live for 33 years in perfect obedience to His Father’s holy laws.
And then to lay down His perfect life at Calvary as my Substitute.

Bearing shame and scoffing rude,
In my place condemned He stood,
Sealed my pardon with His blood:
Hallelujah! What a Saviour!
