Not Outer But Inner

Is this blessedness only for the circumcised, or also for the uncircumcised? We have been saying that Abraham’s faith was credited to him as righteousness. Under what circumstances was it credited? Was it after he was circumcised, or before? It was not after, but before! Romans 4:9-10 NIV

God looks to the inside and not the outside. He looks to the heart and soul, for this is where the person is truly found. If one does not have a clean heart, then how can they belong to God. The Spirit of God must live inside one for them to have the heart which God desires. God is Spirit and He must be worshipped in Spirit. Outward appearance does not matter to God. We can and should do outward things which are a reflection of God. An outward sign of an inner belief can be baptism. The heart must feel remorse and the need and desire for God to be present in order for God to come into the heart. He will not push His way in but will come when invited. Let God be at the center of your heart.
