I KNOW!
The book of Job looks pretty miserable.
In his infinite wisdom, God chose Job to show that a believer can defeat every attack of Satan.
Job lost most of his family.
He lost most of his possessions and wealth.
Not long afterwards he lost his health.
His so-called friends totally failed to help or comfort him.
No way could Job explain why all these tragedies had happened.
Humanly-speaking, his future looked utterly bleak and hopeless.
Astonishingly, Job was not in total despair.
He had hope.
He had a future.
He had faith.
How come?
“I know…”
“I know that my Redeemer lives.” Job 19:25.
Hallelujah!
