There is Hope!

Few would deny that the world is in a mess.
Politically, physically, environmentally, and so on.
Much of the human race is in some way or other idolatrous.
The church, generally speaking, does not have much voice in the world.
The whole world scene can be despairing, depressing, and even hopeless.
BUT!
There is hope!
And do you want hope?

Then think about this.
The Roman Empire was full of trouble.
The Roman Empire was idolatrous.
The Roman Empire was oppressive, cruel, self-interested in the extreme.
A hopeless situation for the Lord’s people, maybe.

But read the first two verses of Luke chapter 3.
Just look at that list of rulers! What sinister power.
But God had an incredible way of doing something about it.
Incredible but simple.
“The Word of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness!”

Yes.
There is hope.
Today.
Hallelujah!
