I Am Opposed
I am opposed
to sincere gossip
that smiles as it destroys the soul.
I am opposed
to earnest knowledge
that knows an exacting force of judgment.
I am opposed
to flowing crowds
blindly following and dreaming of their own
paradise.
I am opposed
to embittered leaders
that gain kingdoms at the expense of the
lowly.
I am opposed
to myself
who cannot solve any of these
simple minded
unorthodox
tyrannies.
