I'm a bird that hasn't any wings.
Without love
I'm a song that no one ever sings.
But with love
I'm like a bird that's ever winging.
But with love
I'm a song you can't stop singing.

Without love
I'm a flower that never will bloom.
Without love
I'm as barren as an empty room.
But with love
I'm like a flower ever blooming.
But with love
I'm like one lovely with God's grooming.

I'm a sun that will not ever shine.
Without love
Everything I have is only mine.
But with love
I'm like a sun shining everywhere.
But with love
Everything I have I want to share.

Without love
I'm as fruitless as a dying tree.
Without love
I'm as lifeless as is the dead sea.
But with love
I'm filled with fruitful emotion.
But with love
I'm like a life-filled thriving ocean.
