Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing

May you all have a blessed and wonderful Christmas and not forget we are celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 40:6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:

Isaiah 40:8   The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Isaiah 40:10 10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

In today’s world, it’s all ABOUT ME, AND POLITICAL CORRECTNESS, nothing else matters .

This holds true with the majority of the Christian churches today. There is barely a day goes by that the news is not reporting on some major disturbance in a Christian church.

But before I get to the state of the Christian Church, there is a relevant story in 1st Kings 13, exposing the wolves in sheep’s clothing and their ease of deception, where an unnamed prophet from Judah was called by God to go into Bethel to confront the abominations of Jeroboam and his false worshipping.

In this story God gave the Prophet specific instructions. He was not to eat or drink anything in the land, and he was to return via a different route.

King Jeroboam offered him the finest accommodations after he prayed for God to heal his withered hand which was stretched out to kill the prophet of God, but this Prophet of God remembered the instructions God had given him concerning his mission and refused all offers of gratuity and returned  by a different route, as God had instructed him to do.

There was another prophet in the land who heard of this prophet’s dealings with Jeroboam. Learning which way, the man of God had traveled, this prophet went seeking the man of God  finding him under a shade tree. He began to insist the man of God return back and dine with this old prophet.

Being true to Gods instructions he refused to return. The other prophet continued to insist that he return and finally using the deceitful  lie of an angel of God instructing him to find the prophet from Judah and bring him back to his house.

The man of God from Judah surmised that since this was a prophet of God, then he must be telling me the truth and therefore relented, returning back to the land and the prophet’s house.

 There he ate and drank, but as the meal concluded the old prophet cried out to the man of God from Judah;

1st Kings 13:21-22   21 And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee,

22 But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcass shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.

The moral of this story is this. The man of God allowed one of his own to deceive him into disregarding God’s instructions, and it cost him his life. There are many more wolves’ in sheep’s clothing,  such as the old prophet, in todays churches and Christian culture than we can imagine, as they lead the blind followers  straight to the lake of fire

Pastors speak and praise themselves more than they do Jesus Christ, look at what I am doing or did, the sermons are a constant reference to the Pastor

It’s                   I – I—I—I—I—I

We now have Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgenders as  Pastors some being registered  sex offenders and yet the masses still allow these people to mingle with the youth, stand in the pulpit and preach on the moral  aspects of Christianity.

Churches are now dis-mantling the pulpits and replacing them with stages, complete with psychedelic lighting, high definition visual and sound effects,

Removing all symbols of Christianity such as the cross/ the flag

Changing the musical program to conform to the modern era from reverent worship to hard rock/ rap / and contemporary; with shouting/ screaming dancing

None of which conveys any semblance of a gospel message.

Removing certain words from the church such as UNSAVED- LOST- HELL – AND HEAVEN, rewriting the Bible nullifying the deity of Jesus Christ

And one other item of note, they  are changing the name “CHURCH” to campus. First Baptist Church in Columbia is now a campus.

There is  also another major problem in the Christian Churches today and it is called “don’t rock the boat.”

The churches of today have become for the most part, social clubs ran by a few who will do anything to maintain positions and the status quo, including false gossiping, false accusations, innuendos, and boycotting.

The courage of the pastors and leaders to stand for Christian principals, moral integrity, and the will of God, has almost disappeared from the Christian Churches.

It is now all about political correctness and keeping with modern trends, cultures, and traditions.

Do you think God is not watching? Do you think God is heartbroken at what is going on with His people (Churches)?  IS GOD PLEASED!!!?

Deuteronomy 5:29  O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children forever!

Here is a little analogy for you to think about as I close.

There once was this King who took a beautiful bride for himself and dressed her in the finest of white garments. Everyone admired her for her beauty, her purity, and her merit

It came that the King had to leave on a long journey alone and unable to take his bride and would have to leave her in the care of his stewards. So, he called his stewards and said to them.

“ I must make this journey but cannot carry my bride with me at this time, So I am leaving her in your hands and your care. Here are the instructions for you to follow to care for my bride while I am away. You are not to deviate from them  in any way, shape, or form, and not one jot or one tittle is to be changed, and when I return, I will reward you greatly or you will be punished.”

After a period of time the stewards realized that the people were losing their loyalty to the king and were no longer concerned with the Bride, after all she was just prudish, old fashioned, not politically correct, or conducive to the  modern times

So, they remove her beautiful white garment, and replace it with something very sensual. Paints her face like a prostitute. Adds various accessories and markings for effects and marches her through the streets of the kingdom using this new look to attract the carnal man back into the kingdom.

Now when that King returns, there are no words to describe what he will do to those stewards for desecrating his bride, and when Jesus Christ returns for His bride, there are no words to describe what he will do to the many pastors and leaders of the churches who have allowed the vile desecration of his bride.  Proverbs 16:18   Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Isaiah 40:10 10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

May God open the eyes of the pastors and leaders to the truth of God’s word, extending  mercy on their souls before it is too late, and may the people open their eyes and see the deceptions that are being followed.

Rev.18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
