     Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays. Happy Winter Break. Oh, you bought me a present. Oh, you didn't buy me a present. That's not what I asked for. Why did you get me this? How could you! Thanks...I'll throw it in the trash when I get home. Already got one, but I'll exchange it for something I want. Yawn. ZZZZZZ. Really? What is this time of the year really about? I seemed to have forgotten. It's - about getting, receiving, right? Who? Jesus. Not allowed to say that or celebrate that guy. Thank God it's over, cause I spent way too much. I hate it. Broke. I hate Christmas.

     Well, maybe, you should make a budget within your paycheck. Maybe, you should find families or individuals that would really appreciate a little money at any time of the year. Maybe, you should give them the money you were going to spend buying presents nobody needed or appreciated. Maybe, you should rearrange your life to have some time to contemplate and just talk with God.

     In the United States, if you make more than $1700 per year, you make more than 70% of the world's population. Get up off your duff and be thankful. Get some space in your life. Take that frown off your face. If you own a car, in the U.S. you most likely do, then you have something that 91% of the rest of the world does not have. Almost half of all vehicles are in the U.S. Pray for humility. About 1.6 billion people do not have adequate housing or are homeless. Get down on your knees and thank God for the privilege of living in the most blessed of all the world's countries. There are 196 countries in the world, and the United States has 30% of the world's total wealth, 106 trillion dollars. And many of us have frowns on our faces.

     My gosh, how much do you need to be happy? Not a single penny, just Jesus Christ, God will give you the rest. Ask for what you need, and let God be the decider of what is needed. I guarantee he will give it to you, and it's going to be a lot more than you ever thought you would receive. You certainly won't deserve it, but He'll give it to you anyway. I say this from experience. So, get up and put a thankful smile on that face.

     Merry Christmas. Thank you, my Father, for your Son, Jesus Christ, who was born on Christmas day. Thank you for making us so spiritually rich.
