Tiptoeing at the edge of a distant shore, she reluctantly, but hopefully, edges in to test the waters of life.

I too, stand at the edge of the sea to test the waters that lie ahead. A current brings us together. Lonely, I was washed up, almost shipwrecked. We both escaped the wreckage and seek a new world and start on a voyage.

I will not climb aboard the Titanic this time, which was doomed for disaster. Like my life, it was headed for destruction. The cocky captain of the Titanic bragged that nothing could stop his ship and ignored warnings of impending disaster.

I have a new captain of my ship, who will keep Drifty Drinnan from drifting, God.

The Lord directs my course. Instead of the Sirens, who almost lured that Greek captain to shipwreck, He brought me together with the woman at the edge of the sea, with whom I boarded the ship, with God as captain, who will keep us on course.

With God's help, I no longer need to drift, and be more consistent with my new-found friend, and be more sensitive to her feelings, welfare, needs.
