If you are struggling with COVID, or if it has affected you or your family in adverse ways, here are some passages from the Bible that may encourage  you and give you hope and peace. 

     From Isaiah...

     “O Lord, be gracious to us...Be our strength every morning, our salvation in the time of distress.” - 33:2

     “Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not look anxiously about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you. Surely I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” - 41:10

    And from Jeremiah...

     “0 Lord, my strength and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of distress.” - 16:19

    From Lamentations...

     “The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning, great is God’s faithfulness.” - 3:22-23

     From Nahum...

     “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble. He knows those who take refuge in Him. - 1:7

     From The Psalms...

     “You, O Lord, be not far off, O God my help, hasten to my assistance.” - 22:19

     “You have seen my affliction, you have known the troubles of my soul.”  - 31:7

     “God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”  - 46:1

     “Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.” - 54:4

     “Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you.” - 55:22   

     “When I am afraid, I will put my trust in God.” - 56:3

     “My soul waits in silence for God only, for my Hope is from Him.” - 62:5

     “Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens.” - 68:19

     “Answer me, O Lord, for your lovingkindness is good. According to the greatness of your compassion, turn to me.” - 69:16

     “God, who has shown me many troubles and distresses, will revive me again.”- 71:20

     “He will deliver the needy when he cries for help, the afflicted also, and him who has no helper.”- 72:12

     “As for me, the nearness of God is my good. I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I may tell of all his works.”- 73:28

     “Incline your ear to my cry, for my soul has had enough troubles.”- 88:3

     “I, O Lord, have cried out to you for help. And in the morning my prayer comes before you.”-88:13

     “It is God who delivers you...from the deadly pestilence.”- 91:3

     “My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”- 121:2

     “My eyes look to the Lord my God, until he shall be gracious to me.”- 123:2
