The claptrap during the last few months that a cop who misued his authority and unecessarily killed a black man is proof positive that America is systemically racist is a sign that the campaign of those who want to undermind our Christian heritage in the culture war is running full steam.

In a recent interview, Dr. Carol M. Swain said that Black Lives Matter is a Marxist organization. It's agenda is to dismantle the nuclear family, transform gender/sexual identity, and force radical change, the professor said. I agree. This organization, which doesn't help blacks but uses them to further its cause, is clearly antithetical to true Christian belief. It is a fraud!

It was Biblical beliefs that Abraham Lincoln called up when he debated slavery with Stephen Douglass that helped abolish slavery. It trumped the human reasoning of his opponent and the racism of the Dixy Democrat South. Honest Abe argued that slavery is a moral issue, which the Bible clearly speaks against.

For an independant literature class in college years ago, I read a short story by Richard Wright, a black man who was born in the early 20th century and suffered under real racism. I searched but couldn't find the one story I read by Mr. Wright that applies to recent events.

The story opens with the protagonist looking at rural fields and imagining a communist utopia where everyone owns everything and everyone is equal. In the story, oppressed blacks were approached by communist leaders. A black person from the church remarked that they shouldn't trust the communists because they don't believe in God. The short story concluded where the blacks just decided to participate in the civil rights march.

I once read a blog that said that conservatives and liberals marched together during the Civil Rights March lead by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. After the campaign to restore the constitutional principle of equal protection under the law was successful, the conservatives went one way and the liberals went another. The liberals championed a welfare/big government state. As is the case today, blacks were made victims.

In his book, "Grace Through The Eyes of Jesus", Paul E. Miller wrote of modern culture;secular-liberalism: "Secular liberalism tries to be the person of Jesus without 1) Jesus' atonement (the cross), 2) Jesus' presence (the Holy Spirit), and 3) Jesus' body (the church). It always fails. It ends up creating a law out of compassion that is used to marginalize people. That's what political correctness is. You can't do Jesus without Jesus."

Some churches pollute their doctrine and ways with Marxist ideas. Christians have to choose between Jesus Christ and Karl Marx. You can't serve two masters. They are mutually exclusive!
