10 Reasons We Are In The End Days

1. Revelation 11:9-10 (The Two Witnesses). For two thousand years readers of these verses have wondered how the entire world could look upon these two witnesses and give gifts to each other..... Now we know.

2. Revelation 13:16-17 (The Mark of the Beast). For two thousand years readers have wondered how the entire world could be forced to take a mark in order for one to buy or sell. They also wondered how every man, woman, and child could be tracked by one person or entity... Now we know.

3. Matthew 24:32-34 (Parable of the Fig Tree). The fig tree represents the nation of Israel. For two thousand years believers knew that the end-times couldn't come until Israel was a nation again. Even though they knew this, they still expected the rapture of the church could happen at any time. This is because Israel needed to be a nation during the Tribulation but, as prophesied, was to be born in a day and could have been born in between the rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation. Jesus said the generation that sees Israel as a nation in a youthful state, that that generation shall not pass away until all these things be fulfilled. How youthful of a state Israel needs to be in before the generation begins, we do not know, but.... Now we know.

4. The devastation seen in Revelation during the tribulation - or time of Jacob's trouble - seems to have nuclear weapon detonations possible in a few of the passages. Past generations couldn't understand these catastrophes, if they are indeed nuclear, in light of previous weaponry.... Now we know.

5. Revelation 13:15 (The Image of the Beast). Believers have wondered for two thousand years how an image could have life and speak. Think holograms, robotics, and AI technology... Now we know.

6. Matthew 24:6 (Wars and Rumors of Wars).

A. Ezekiel 38 & 39. The three major nations mentioned by their names of antiquity in these passages are Russia, Turkey, and Iran. These nations have never had an alliance but are in communication today. All three are in Syria on the border of Israel's “north”. The “hook in the jaw” will bring them down into Israel to “take a spoil”.

B. Isaiah 17:1 and following. Damascus and its suburbs are currently being bombed by Israel in its attempt to push Iran out of Syria. The day is coming soon when Israel will have no choice but to wipe Damascus off the map and could very well start the Gog invasion of Ezekiel 38 & 39 or be a result of the invasion.

C. Psalms 83:1-18. While some believe Psalm 83 is a psalm of petition from Asaph to God to put an end to the threats of Israel's surrounding enemies, others believe this is a future war where Israel will expand its borders and be a precursor to the Gog invasion, as well as the fall of Damascus – or in concert with each other. If Psalm 83:1-18 is prophetic - and has not been fulfilled in the recent Israeli-Arab wars from 1948-1972 - then we should be seeing something on the horizon.

7. Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions have accelerated in frequency and intensity in the last several decades. This could be leading up to the cataclysmic signs of nature wreaking havoc on the world during the Tribulation.

8. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (Characteristics of Society in the End Times). Paul's list to Timothy is a mirror into the characteristics of men and women in today's world. Other than the people of the pre-flood world, who faced their own judgment in the flood, there has never been such a worldwide manifestation of sinful man as we see today. We too, are ripe for judgment.

9. Matthew 24:24 (False Christs and False Prophets). One only needs to do a search online to find the myriad of “false christs” in the world today. Just one example would be the New Age movement's insistence that we all have a “Christ consciousness.” See #10 for “False Prophets.”

10. 1 Timothy 4:1 - "The Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils." We sure see this today, don't we!

There are many more signs that we could mention and, as we can see, the signs are all around us. Come quickly Lord Jesus! Maranatha!!!
