The Bible says that Christians should not forsake assembling together. While that is true, during the coronavirus people are not meeting in their buildings for services. Millions of Christians are not able to attend church.

     Remember, though, that the Church is not a building. It is simply where Christians gather. As believers, we are the church. Millions of believers are present all around the world. Together we are the Universal Church of regenerated believers who have accepted Jesus as our Savior. We don’t need a building. The Holy Spirit indwells us.

     During this time of the virus, Christians have a golden opportunity to be the church in the community. Many people are living in fear and panic. Let us as Christians seek to replace the panic with peace and purpose. Let’s replace fear with hope. As the virus is community spread, so can be the Gospel of hope and salvation. Let’s be the church by our life, good deeds, and words. May we help people see that even though the coronavirus is out of control, God is in control!
