'WHERE ARE YOU DYING TO GO?” - John Tyler, Author

Today, the thought came into my mind that I have to write another piece for www.Faithwriters.com.

I thought about life and that every human body actually dies from the moment of birth to their final moment on the planet when their spirit leaves that body that housed their spirit for however long they had that luxury of experiencing the world.

The immediate thought that came into my head was that many people – especially celebrities and the uber-rich have said, “I'm dying to go to see the Eiffel Tower in France, or the Great Wall of China.” - “I'm dying to go to Times Square in New York on New Year's Eve.” - “I'm dying to visit Disney World Resort in Florida or Disneyland in California.”

I have heard people in North Carolina say, “I'm dying to go to the Billy Joel Concert in April when it comes to the Bank of America (Panthers football) stadium in Charlotte.”

And then - - - it dawned on me that we are all dying, so that's a fact, so every spirit that leaves the body upon physical death is going to go to one of two places.....heaven - - - or hell where there is a “Lake of Fire” waiting.

My mind immediately jumped to a TV commercial that ran during the Democrat Debates a short time ago and the speaker in the commercial was Ron Reagan....son of the late (physically dead) president, Ronald Reagan. Ron Reagan proudly ended the commercial message with, “Not afraid of burning in hell.”

Of course my prolific mind then jumped to thoughts of all those who lived before us and who are physically dead, but their spirit went on to live for eternity in the first of three levels of hell. There are also three levels of heaven, just so you know. The three levels of heaven are (1) the atmosphere from the ground to what we call outer space where the planets, stars, sun and moon can be seen and that is level (2) of the heavens. The third heaven is where God lives.

Scripture:

First level of heaven – 2 Samuel 18:9 -”And Absalom rode upon a mule, and the mule went under the thick boughs of a great oak, and his head caught hold of the oak, and he was taken up between the heaven and the earth; and the mule that was under him went away.”

So, before I get to the SECOND LEVEL OF HEAVEN, I need to demonstrate that there is a THIRD LEVEL OF HEAVEN.

The apostle Paul wrote this in 2 Corinthians 12:2 – and MOST SCHOLARS get it wrong! They believe it was Paul who was ushered up into the THIRD HEAVEN.

No, Paul is telling us that “He knew a man fourteen years ago who was caught up into the THIRD HEAVEN.” Fourteen years prior, Paul walked and talked with Peter, John and the other Disciples in Jerusalem. -

Proof? - “For some days he (Paul) was with the disciples at Damascus. And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues, saying, "He is the Son of God." ... When many days had passed, the Jews plotted to kill him (Paul), but their plot became known to Saul (Paul) . They (plotting Jews) were watching the gates day and night in order to kill him (Paul) , but his (Paul's) disciples (followers) took him by night and let him down through an opening in the wall, lowering him in a basket. And when he (Paul) had come to Jerusalem, he attempted to join the disciples (of Jesus). And they (Jesus' Apostles) were all afraid of him, for they did not believe that he was a disciple (Apostle appointed by Jesus – to be the 12^th Apostle. Peter chose Mathias who Jesus did not choose, and we never hear from Mathias again.). But Barnabas took him (Paul) and brought him to the apostles and declared to them how on the road he had seen the Lord, who spoke to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus. So he (Paul) went in and out among them at Jerusalem, preaching boldly in the name of the Lord.” (Paul was with and talking to and with the Apostles of Jesus including Peter, James, John, etc. while in Jerusalem).

Now, let's get to the magical 14 year statement......Galatians 2:1 - “Then, fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.”

Paul writes in Galatians 2:1....Fourteen years after my visit to Jerusalem where I walked and talked with all of the Apostles of Christ...and they accepted me as one of them, I returned to Jerusalem with Barnabus and Titus (two of my closest Disciples or followers), so the implication to anyone reading and studying the Bible can easily see that when Paul said, “I knew a man fourteen years ago (John) who was caught up into the THIRD HEAVEN. John told Paul of his experience in the THIRD HEAVEN.” - Paul was not caught up to the THIRD HEAVEN...John was....John – the Apostle whom Paul walked and talked with fourteen years earlier that his writing in 2 Corinthians 12:2.

Now, John writes this in John 4:2 - “And immediately I (John) was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.” -

So it was John who was caught up to the THIRD heaven that Paul tells of, and it was John who was commissioned by Jesus to write the Book of The Revelation.....telling about what heaven looks like, who is there....who is NOT there, and how WE can get there. He also warns us of the other eternal destiny of mankind.....Hell and the Lake of Fire in the Book of The Revelation.

THEREFORE, we know there is the first level of heaven.....where humans breath air, and we know of a THIRD HEAVEN where God lives, so the only logical conclusion from the Bible is that there is a SECOND HEAVEN, and Isaiah the Old Testament Prophet of God tells us about that heaven.....

The second level of heaven – Isaiah 13:10 -”For the stars of the heavens and their constellations will not give their light, the sun will be dark at its rising, and the moon will not shed its light.”

Okay, so now let's confirm that there are THREE LEVELS of Hell............

FIRST LEVEL OF HELL - 1 Samuel 28- 11-13 - “Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel. And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul. And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.”

The witch at Endor told King Saul, “I saw spirits ascending out of the earth.” She witnessed spirits of the dead roaming the earth....the first level of hell is the top crust or grave level of the earth.

THE SECOND LEVEL OF HELL: -

From page 74 -75 of my book, “Heaven – How Do I Get There” (FREE on my book site at www.RelationshipBooks.com), we find this from 2 Peter 2:4 -”For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment...” then we know there is the FIRST LEVEL OF HELL...and The Book of The Revelation tells us of yet a THRID LEVEL of hell where nobody is now....not the spirits who wait on earth for the Great White Throne Judgment of God (in torment) ...and not the angels who are chained in a lower level of hell......which can't be on the top of the earth.....so where is this THIRD LEVEL of hell?

Revelation 20 tells us of this THIRD LEVEL where nobody is until after the Great White Throne of God's Judgment......Verses 6-15 – 6 - “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (That's those who believed Christ and all that He said and did)

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 - And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. - (First death is the physical death...second death is the eternal death for those who are not named in the “BOOK OF LIFE”.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

THEREFORE, the three levels of hell are: (1) The ground level (grave)....or (2) the second level where the angels who joined Satan to rebel against God are chained...and the (3rd) level which is not occupied until the Great White Throne Judgment of God takes place, and that is called the Lake of Fire.

I started thinking about people like George Washington and how he must have had fun growing up as a child.....the friends he made, and then I thought of all of the things that flooded his mind as an adult. The relationships he had – the time he spent courting his girlfriend Martha....and then he died physically in December of 1799...two-hundred and twenty years ago!

Elvis.....lived quite the life. He had life and riches and fame by the tail...and then he sampled drugs to keep up the image he had of himself as the 'King of Rock 'N Roll”. He made

lots of friends, he had pals in the military. He physically shook hands with a U.S. President, he courted Priscilla Ann Wagner (aka Priscilla Beaulieu) who he later married...and then his physical body died on August 16, 1977.....so I began to wonder where they said they were “dying to go”.

While all of us are, in fact dying, we should really be focusing on WHERE we are dying to go when the last breath is taken. Based on John 3:3 - “ Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” - - - or Acts 4:12 - “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

And there are a host of other Bible verses that road map how we are to get to Heaven...and all of those are also found in my aforementioned book.

So, usually, God plants thoughts into my head, and I have to act upon them while they are fresh. Perhaps He is asking you....”Where are YOU dying to go? -And, “How are you planning that trip?” He says, “I have written a clear instruction manual to help every soul KNOW where their spirit will go...it's called the Bible.”

God wrapped all that I'm repeating here up in 1 John 5:13 - “I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
