If you don’t eat
You will surely die
Your body will waste away
Your body needs
The proper foods
It needs nourishment every day

You can eat
All kinds of food
But what food should you really eat
Certain vitamins
Calcium and Iron
And the protein you get from Meat.

Your spiritual life
Is in need of food
And requires a daily meal
If you do not eat
You will surely die
That fact of life is real.

The Word of God
Is food for thought
And provides a key to life
A daily meal
Of spiritual thought
Re-enforces your faith in Christ.
