The most significant verse in the entire Bible is Galatians 2:21. The last ten words say, ”...if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”

     Anyone who has put his or her trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior is justified and declared righteous. The Law or any form of law is not necessary.  See Galatians 2:16. There is nothing wrong in living by the Law in obedience to Christ or to live a moral and righteous life, but it will not save you, or make you righteous before God.

     Now here is the real kicker: If keeping a Law could justify anyone, there was no reason for Jesus to die on the cross! That is what this verse says.

     Works or keeping the Law will never save you. If you think it will, then you are in a cult, or have been deceived. Acts 4:12 says, “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”
