ABOVE THE LAW THROUGH DIVINE LINK

Scriptural Reading: Romans 8:1-2

 ^‘‘And that through Him everyone who believes [who ^a]">[a]acknowledges Jesus as his Savior and devotes himself to Him] is absolved (cleared and freed) from every charge from which he could not be justified and freed by the Law of Moses and given right standing with God.’’ Acts 13:39 (AMPC)

Pastor Abraham Yakubu, the writer of ‘Do Not Glory Yet’ once said that his family does not eat tortoise but that when he gave his life to Christ, that branch was cut off. That means he was no longer under any family law and he could eat tortoise. His newfound faith in Christ has made him free from ancestral link and oath. Recalling the ugly incidence that took place in Egypt some thousand years ago, there was a national disaster that claimed both human and animal lives. The destruction was so severe and it was beyond human control. For the fact that the children of Israel had a divine link with the Almighty creator, they automatically became above the law of death and destruction in the land of Goshen and there was no evil news concerning them (Exodus 9:24-26). The righteous are above the laws of Satan.

Those who are in Christ Jesus have escaped all forms of condemnation from the camp of the enemies and the law of the spirit of life which is in Christ Jesus has made us become better Christians who are now above the law of destruction (sin and death).

God Almighty is our eternal Chief Judge who understands all the laws of Satan and there is no law of Satan that is strong enough to hold Him. He understands all the rules of engagement to be observed in order to be above the law of Satan. It is an error for the law of destruction to hold the righteous that are linked to God. God wants us to keep our garments clean at all times so that Satan will not be able to snatch us away unexpectedly. Those who are divinely linked to the Ancient of Days are instantly protected from harm and spiritual missiles.

Is it also possible for churchgoers to be above the law of destruction? NO. It is only the righteous that are above the law of sin and death. To be above the law of sin and death, one has to be genuinely born again and make the Holy Bible a close companion. We can also hold on to this anchor scripture to be above the laws of sin and death. ‘Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:’ Galatians 3:13a (KJV). Identifying with Christ is a connection to a divine link.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, every generational bondage and the ancestral oath I have been into with my family members, let it be destroyed by fire and make us be above every form of satanic laws. Amen

 Divine affiliation delivers from satanic oppression and it makes a fellow above the law of death.
