‘‘The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them’’. Proverbs 11: 3 (KJV)

Integrity is a state or quality of being honest and having strong moral principles that reflect uprightness. Job was one of the few men in the Bible who had a right standing with God and led a life of uprightness before God. He feared God and did not partake in any evil during his days. There was a time when life was harsh on him when he suffered losses both in human and material terms, yet he did not sin against God but followed Him till the very end. He was a man of integrity indeed and his later end became better than his beginning.

Our Bible passage where we took our text from in Proverbs 11:3 (KJV), those who are honest will definitely be guided by their principles of integrity and as a result of this, they will not fall into trouble. When an individual is guided by God, he would be far from any form of evil, but for those who live contrarily to uprightness will surely fall into trouble and would be destroyed by the enemy. God is not on their side to back them.

God Almighty Himself is a father who walks in His integrity always and does not compromise His standards because of us who are His children. He wants us to walk in integrity in this sinful world so that He can guide us always. God is very near more than we think. Invite Jesus to that situation and hand over everything to Him.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I invite you into my life today, come and be in charge of my life and destroy every power not making me walk in integrity. Amen
