We Are Woman


We are vessels created to hold
Sometimes we hold too much for too long.

We were created for bearing
We bear hardship and pain
During the sunshine and through the rain.

We were created to carry
Our babies in our wombs
Our men on our backs
Both in our hearts.

We are resilient
We bounce back

We are soft on the outside, Yet strong on the inside.

We were specially planned, designed and then built by God.

Our appearance in the garden caused a great disturbance in hell, Satan was so intimidated, he tricked man and he fell.

Who is this creature? He was puzzled for he had never seen.

Such a being created to be a Queen.

Heaven had no such creation, he had been all over the place.

There was nothing walking around heaven with slender legs,

Shapely body and man what a waist.

Satan scratched his head and finally it dawned on him,

God had a secret weapon

We were not created on a whim

We Are Woman
