What I want, What I do
No need for enemies when divided in two
Proverbs 29:6 ensnares me in Romans 7:19

What I ask, What I receive
Temper breaks my grip on what I believe
James 1:6 explains the still, dry mountain of Mark 11:23

Tree by stream, Reed that wheezes
Engrave justifying creeds gleaned from breezes
Ephesians 4:14 sways the spineless of Matthew 11:7

Morning vows, Evening vapors
God’s adopted rock wouldn’t keep losing to paper
Ecclesiastes 5:4 delays this shrubs rain of Jeremiah 17:6

my commitments all leak
Your love seals the weak
i forget my own face
You use mirrors in grace

Love that sweats, Words that bleed
Tongue dried up my sea of good deeds
James 3:11’s fresh to salty to the pit of Proverbs 26:27

Devoted friend, Verbal sniper
Abandoned come time to pay the viper
Romans 3:13’s lips destroy my neighbors of Proverbs 11:9

Annoying C friends now, A’s & B’s have bye-byed
Life among the ruins of what made sense to Mr. Hyde
James 3:6 burns the walls of Proverbs 25:28

Many "yes" deposits, One rage withdrawal
Remorse, placate, resent, click “send” on e-mauls
Galatians 1:10’s efforts can’t mask my heart of Luke 6:45

i do not forgive
You teach die to live
my useless religion
Your Son’s decision

Learn shut-up scripture, Still unleashed fool
Verse corks keep popping as I pursue God like school
Proverbs 29:11’s vent destroys harvest of James 3:18

Prescribed repent prayers, Shop for penance to bear
Demeanor in the red as I pursue God as cashier
Romans 6:23’s wages useless even for passions of James 4:3

Month no mean words, Season since yells
No regard for the calendar as family walks on eggshells
Proverbs 12:18's pain lingers in the crushed spirits of Proverbs 15:4

Sorry means work harder, Shame means go hide
Better guilt management is not why He died
2 Corinthians 7:10’s sorrow doesn’t wash the hands of James 4:8

You let broke prodigals return
i can’t fix short-fused
You save even rightly accused

Sharp when submitting, Dull when I’m proud
Then blindsided by lightning after ignoring dark clouds

Announce all my triggers, Blame when shouts start
But this disorder doesn’t pardon a stiff-necked heart
