Poetry

---

Wake up and clothe yourself to suit,
Beautiful garments to wear on;
And outfit that is absolute,
Outstanding starting a new dawn.

Get up captive shake off the dirt,
Take off the chains around your neck;
And put on a nice-looking shirt,
So, you do not look like a wreck.

O Jerusalem and O Zion;
You were being sold for zero;
Begin to roar like a lion,
And making the scoundrels yellow.

The people of God went to live.
In Egypt temporarily;
Assyria made oppressive,
Trying to take their liberty.

His people were carried away,
For no reason what so ever;
Unto the Lord they had to pray,
From homeland they did sever.

So, His people will know His name,
And they will know that at that time;
Always praising as they proclaim,
Through the trek the mountains they climb.

How delightful are of the feet,
Messengers announcing Good News;
Making peace is sounding so sweet,
How the Lord reigns if we so choose.

Listen as your watchmen will shout,
Shouting about the joy and the peace;
At that time do not hold some doubt,
That the hostilities will cease.

For they will see with their own eyes,
The Lord is returning to Zion;
For the Lord is noble and wise,
Protecting like a mother lion.

The Lord reveals His royal might,
Making bare of His holy arm;
As all the nations in His sight,
Know God will deliver them harm.

God states for them to leave from there,
The Chosen must not touch the crud;
Stay pure as they are not to share,
Anything with unholy mud.
