Your Life is a song that God writes
Sometimes Life is good, other times it bites
But remember He’s writing the song
It’ll sound good to Him, while we think it’s wrong

God placed the time signature, key, and tempo of your life
He even placed the notes even in strife
Every note was placed with tender care
Through every flat and sharp note He’ll always be there

Your life is a symphony played by a band
Each life you touch, every time you reach out your hand
Your song is not selfish, not a single measure
When God looks at you, He finds pleasure

No song is ever the same
But every song gives glory to His name
We all have a song uniquely written for us
We’ll never know the outcome unless in God we trust

We are a songbook with many pages
Still being written, going through many stages
Together we accent one another
Our songs may be different but still harmonize with my brother

When the songbook comes together as one
The Son in us and we are in the Son
Each song will gladly to Him sing
Tho’ they are different, they play the same thing
