Has your heart been broken by rejection? Jesus knows how you feel. His heart was broken on the cross when those He so loved, chose to reject Him.
He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. John 1:11 ESV
He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Isa 53:3 ESV
Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee. Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. Psalm 69:19-20 KJV
And they will mock him and spit on him, and flog him and kill him. Mark 10:34a ESV
Jesus knows all about a broken heart. If we let Him, He will heal our broken heart.
Dear Jesus, my heart is broken by rejection from the one I love. I forgive them for they know not what they do. I pray that you would bless them and protect them. I offer my heart to you for healing. Amen
