OUR NEW BORN KING

At this Christmas time of year, we’re here to celebrate
This joyous event of long ago, when the angel of the Lord, did appear

What God brought through Mary, “a Savior”, the angel would say. Born in a stable, in the warmth of straw, He lay

Yes, our new born King, has come to reign, the Father’s promise, foretold from past, without blemish, without stain, this Prince of Peace, His love remain

God’s call to all, to receive Him King, no other compare,this child called Christ, would one day care, to lead mankind, yes.. His yoke we’ll share

Come, know the Son, our God sent forth, this glorious King, our heavenly Host, learn to love Him.. to love Him first and love Him most

A joy filled season, this time of year, so let Him in, surrender, receive His love, in your heart, let this be your fear

He calls us through the promised Spirit, for us to take, never to leave, never to doubt, no.. He’ll not forsake

This new born King has come to reign, The Son of God, our Lord and King. Love Him first, and love Him most, love this Prince of peace, our Lord… foremost
