There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor? James 4:12 NIV
Who are we to judge our neighbor? I think we all would agree that at times we tend to judge others. Sometimes it is almost unconsciously, but at other times it is outright blatant.
It does not matter what the reason is for the judgement. We are told by God not to judge. The judgement that we use against others shall be used against us. Would you want to stand before Christ, and be judged adversely for the judgement you have made against others? Those who know Christ would certainly answer this question in the negative.
Pray often to the Lord, that He would free your mind of a judgmental attitude. You know not why the other has done what they have. You have not walked a mile in their shoes. You should not sit in judgement on them. Keep your mind free of judgement and focus on Christ.

Good reminder about being judgmental, and not jumping to conclusions. As you point out, we need to think like Christ and minister, not judge others. This doesn't mean, however, that we overlook something that is blatantly bad or that we enable bad behavior, but we should be gentle when we have to admonish people, as I believe it says in, yes, James.
Good article, lead by scripture and succinctly developed.
