Chosen to remain fruitful and be heard.

Who chose whom? Did we choose God first or did He choose us and why?

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”

John 15:16 NKJV

Good for us that He chose us, for if we would have been given that option, as always we would have made wrong choices and made a God for ourselves as we like.

Why did God choose us and appoint us? So that we may bear fruit and not just for a time and season but forever and in every season.

And after He has given us a new life and filled us with the Holy Spirit and as we walk in His perfect will, God will answer our prayers.

This is the perfect state of blessedness that God wants us to be in.

We are created in the image of God, chosen by God, redeemed by His precious blood, filled with the Holy Spirit and the very purpose of our existence is to shine for Christ, so the world may see and know our God.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:16 NKJV

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

1 Peter 2:9 NKJV

Let’s ask this to ourselves…

Do we know God’s will for our life?

Do we seek His perfect will for us in prayer?

Are we coming true to God’s expectations in our life?

A perfect life is that which has met its purpose, the very purpose to bring glory to God’s name.

We have this responsibility towards God for all the good He has done for us. Thus let’s live our life worthy of our calling and bring glory to His name always.
